Films: People: Rosamund Kwan Chi-Lam (Hong Kong)

I first saw her in SWORDSMAN II and I must say that she was incredible despite the little dinky role they gave her. Fortunately, she was featured far more prominently in the otherwise not *that* good ONCE UPON A TIME IN CHINA. Whether looking wistifully into the distance, or pouting seductively, or being badly manhandled, her graceful presence adds a touch of class to the lowliest films. She can also be utterly and deliciously evil, but unfortunately she does not get cast in that role very much. On the other hand, her intelligent looks are an asset for the screen and should not be overlooked. Rosamund Kwan
