Brigitte Lin is one of the most famous and long-enduring stars of Asian cinema. She has been

megahit Swordsman II. On the other hand, she makes my favorite appearance in the 1993 The Bride
With White Hair, where she plays the betrayed lover with some moving conviction that I still
feel goose bumps every time I see the scene where she impales herself with the untrusty lover's
sword. She is the ultimate actress: beautiful, strong, and willful, and has a commanding presence
that makes it impossible to fail to notice her.
